During his imprisonment and marriage to Lucinda Wolfsen, Prince Jack Benjamin of Gilboa produced two children: the heir, Crown Princess Sarah Rose, and her twin brother Silas Nathaniel. Born mere minutes after his sister, and though by tradition supposed to be the heir apparent, Nathaniel has always been the spare, behind his sister in everything. Taken mere hours after birth from their parents, he was raised to be everything his father had not been, sheltered and kept as a symbol for what Gilboa's future should be.
